PSG appointed Luis Enrique
Luis Enrique is a well-known manager and the former manager of the Spain National Football Team and the Spanish club FC Barcelona. Although Spain couldn't do well under Luis Enrique, he won some major titles for FC Barcelona. Under him, FC Barcelona won the famous treble in the 2014-2015 campaign. Barcelona won their last Champions League trophy in 2015 under Luis Enrique. Now, the Spaniard takes charge of the Frech club, Paris Saint-Germain. He signed a two-year contract with PSG, which will keep him until 2025. PSG have Released an official statement Regarding the appointment of Luis Enrique. They stated, "Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Luis Enrique has been named as its first team's new head coach, with the Spanish manager signing a two-year contract." Enrique is also happy to be the new manager of PSG. "I'm delighted to be joining Paris in order to enjoy a new experience," Enrique said. "It's so interesting to meet new people, to live in this city, to learn a new language and, above all, to manage PSG," the new manager added.Khelaifi breaks the silence of Mbappe
There have been a lot of rumors about Kylian Mbappe for the last two years. It is no secret Real Madrid are keen to sign Mbappe. They also had made a record-breaking bid for the France world cup winner last year, but PSG rejected it. However, Mbappe made controversy himself at the beginning of the transfer market. His contract will expire in 2024, and Mbappe told PSG that he won't extend his contract. So, PSG have two options now, sell Mbappe or renew the contract. But it seems Mbappe will not extend the contract. PSG chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi remained silent about this issue until today. But Khelaifi broke the silence today. "I was completely shocked when I heard Mbappé wants to leave for free. He's a great boy, a gentleman, so leaving for free, weakening the biggest club in his country, that's not him. I was shocked and disappointed," Khelaifi said. However, Khelaifi also gives an ultimatum for Mbappe. He said, "If Mbappe doesn't renew in 2 weeks, the door is OPEN. Mbappé needs to decide NEXT WEEK, or he has 2 WEEKS AT MOST. We want him to stay but he can't leave for free. That’s the fact. No one is bigger than the club. No player, not even me. That’s very clear." As it stands, Real Madrid's chance is getting high to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer. But things can change anytime. Mbappe was also close to joining Madrid two years back, but he surprisingly signed a new contract with PSG.Related reading
