English clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool FC, and Arsenal are very active in this summer transfer window. Although Man United and Liverpool are close to completing their first signing of the window, Arsenal are getting close to signing three players.

Manchester United

English club Manchester United already have reached an agreement with Chelsea FC to sign Mason Mount. All the paperwork between the two clubs has been done. But Manchester United haven't announced the signing of Mason Mount yet, as the player is on vacation. The official announcement is expected to come next week. However, Manchester United have much concern this week. Their contract with David De Gea expired on June 30. As of now, De Gea is a free agent. Manchester United and De Gea's camp remain calm as talks continue. De Gea won the golden glove last season as he kept the highest number of clean sheets in the league. Unfortunately, De Gea made several mistakes in big games, which affected Man United massively. Manager Erik Ten Hag always backed David De Gea in public, but the manager never guaranteed the No.1 position for DDG. On the other side, Manchester United have a strong interest in signing Inter Milan's goalkeeper Andre Onana. Onana is also keen to join Man United. Personal terms will not be an issue for this deal. But Inter Milan wants around £55m for Onana. The coming weeks will be important for Manchester United.

Arsenal

Arsenal are very much active in this window. They already have signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea FC. They also have reached an agreement with West Ham United to sign English midfielder Declan Rice with a record transfer fee of £105m. However, Arsenal haven't announced the signing of Declan Rice. But everything is done, and the Gunners are preparing to introduce Declan Rice in the coming weeks. Arsenal are also trying to sign more players. They are in talks with Dutch club Ajax for Jurrien Timber. Jurrien Timber had a fantastic season with Ajax last year. However, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen his defense. He has successfully renewed the contract of Waliam Saliba. Now the manager looks to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax. Arsenal have already sent an official bid of £45m for Timber according to The Sun. The Gunners are confident to complete the deal.

Liverpool

Liverpool have signed Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig. His medical tests were successfully completed after the €70m release clause was triggered on Friday evening. The midfielder has signed a five-year contract with Liverpool. The official announcement is expected to come today. However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also interested in the signing of Nicholas Barella from Inter Milan.
