Spanish forward Alvaro Morata netted for Atletico in the 49th minute to make the scoreline 3-0. The home team was awarded a penalty kick in the 57th minute, from where Yannick Carrasco netted for Atletico. Anyway, Cadiz found the net in the 72nd minute as Anthony Lozano scored for the visitors. But Cadiz conceded once again within a minute. This time, Nahuel Molina scored for Atletico with an assist from his native, Rodrigo De Paul.
