BCB Dropped Tamim Iqbal
Bangladesh Cricket Board, BCB, dropped opener Tamim Iqbal for the ODI World Cup due to his fitness issue. There has been a lot of drama happening surrounding Tamim Iqbal. He retired from international cricket back in July. It was a very surprising news for the fans of Bangladesh cricket. However, former captain Mashrafee Bin Mortaza came forward to solve this issue and brought Tamim back into cricket. After having a meeting with Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal made a U-turn and broke the retirement. Tamim Iqbal took a break to prepare for the World Cup. He stepped down as the captain and missed the Asia Cup 2023. However, Tamim Iqbal returned to cricket with the series against New Zealand. Everything was going well, but the scenario changed last night. Last night, Tamim Iqbal informed the board that he is not 100% fit. Therefore, he can't play all the games in the World Cup. Tamim Iqbal has asked the board to consider his fitness issue if they select him for the final squad. But captain Shakib Al Hasan and coach Chandika Hathurusingha strongly opposed it as they want every player 100%. Then, BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon called a meeting last night with the captain and the coach regarding this issue. Finally, the Board just announced the final 15-man squad for the ICC World Cup, where Tamim Iqbal hasn't got a seat.Bangladesh Squad for World Cup

They tried with Afif Hossain, Shamim Patwari, and many more. Unfortunately, they all failed to prove themselves.
