He was selected last in total in last year's NFL Draft, however, he managed to lead the San Francisco 49ers to the NFC Championship game before injury curtailed both his and his franchise's campaign. 2. Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow burst onto the scene as the quarterback for the LSU Tigers, leading them to a national championship in 2019 and picking up the Heisman Trophy on the way. He was then selected as the number one in total pick in the 2020 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals and he has completely transformed the Ohio-based outfit's fortunes. Burrow has shown poise and confidence beyond his years, and his accuracy and decision-making have been excellent. In just his second season in Cincy, he led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years, Defeating Mahomes' Chiefs on enemy territory along the way. Last season, Burrow led his team to a second consecutive AFC Championship game, once again picking up a huge underdog victory on the road, this time in the divisional round against the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs would eventually have their revenge, but 'Jackpot Joey' will be aiming to lead his beloved Bengals to a maiden Lombardi in the upcoming campaign.

3. Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts was not even supposed to be the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles this season, and it took him a short while to find his feet at the Linc. However, those feet would eventually be found, as he led his team to a respectable 8-7 record in his first season as a starter in 2021. Then last season, he truly burst onto the scene. His performances last term were nothing short of sensational, and he led the Eagles to a 14-3 regular season record. He picked up where he left off once the playoffs got underway, securing victories against the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers to secure the NFC Championship. He threw for a whopping 304 yards, as well as making 27 completions from his 38 pass attempts.
