Pochettino or Nagelsmann: Who will be the next manager of Chelsea?
For the second time this season, Chelsea have sacked their manager. Chelsea sacked Graham Potter as their manager one day after their humiliating defeat against Aston Villa. Graham Potter was appointed as the Chelsea manager, replacing Thomas Tuchel on September 8, on five years contract. After only seven months, his time has come to an end. Graham Potter spent a record amount during the transfer window. During his period, Chelsea signed eight players for a record £323.3 Million in transfer fees. In spite of that, Chelsea is currently in 11th place after 28 games in the league. Chelsea won only seven of their 22 league games under Graham Potter. As a result, Chelsea sacked him as their manager. Chelsea released an official statement following the departure of Graham Potter. They stated, "Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to help a smooth transition. In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future."

Who will be the next manager?

Julian Nagelsmann, who was sacked by FC Bayern Munich a few days back, is a favorite to be the next manager of Chelsea FC. Although Nagelsmann had a fantastic record as Bayern's manager in UCL, Bayern sacked him for several reasons. However, his vision has been appreciated by top clubs such as Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea FC. So we may see Julian Nagelsmann as the new manager of Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel, the former manager of Chelsea and the current manager of Bayern, shared his opinion on Nagelsmann's possibility of joining Chelsea FC. He was asked if he would recommend Nagelsmann to join Chelsea. Tuchel replied, "Julian is not gonna ask me because he doesn't need my advice. I received the news of Potter's sacking yesterday on my cell phone as a push notification." Apart from Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino is also a favorite to take on this job. Since he departed from Tottenham Hotspur in 2019, he hasn't joined any club yet. But Tottenham Hotspur are now interested in bringing him back to the club. Chelsea are also interested. Let's see what happens next for Chelsea.
