Joao Felix will return to Atletico

Joao Felix, who joined English club Chelsea FC the last January on a loan move from Atletico Madrid, is reportedly leaving the Blues. The Portugues youngster has failed to show his talent in the English Premier League. In his 16 appearances in the Premier League, Joao Felix scored only four goals for Chelsea and provided zero assists. He had zero goal contributions in four UEFA Champions League games he played for Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino, who has been appointed as the head coach of Chelsea, has made some decisions to offload some players. Joao Felix is among them. New boss Pochettino doesn't want him at Chelsea and Atletico president confirmed it. Atlético president Cerezo said, "We have been informed 24h ago that Pochettino does not count with João Félix for Chelsea project. He will return here at Atléti and we’ll see… we’ve nothing planned."

Benzema's shock move?

Karim Benzema has been one of the best performers for Real Madrid in recent years. He has also won the Balon d'Or 2022. Although he has a contract with Real Madrid until 2024, he could leave the club and join the Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad. Saudi Arabian clubs are heavily trying to develop their league. Last summer, they signed one of the greatest footballers, Christiano Ronaldo. Clubs are now trying to get some well-run players and Karim Benzema is among them. Saudi club Al Ittihad had already made a proposal for signing Benzema. Benzema's salary will be close to €100m per season net if he joins Al Ittihad. However, Benzema is seriously thinking about this proposal but hasn't made any decision yet. He will tell his decision to Real Madrid within a few days as he is taking time. On the other hand, Real Madrid are also monitoring the situation. They are in contract with Roberto Firmino, who bid farewell during Liverpool's last match in the league. Real Madrid will bring Firmino if Benzema leaves in the summer.
