Antony Leaves Man United
With high hopes, Manchester United signed Brazilian winger Antony in 2022. Former Man United boss Erik Ten Hag signed Antony with a £86m fee, making Antony the most expensive player in the club's history. But the time at Man United has not gone well for the former Ajax player. There is no doubt Antony has some unique skills, but he continued to deliver goals when the team needed him most. In 96 appearances across all competitions, Antony scored only 12 goals for Manchester United. As a result, Manchester United decided to offload him. Manchester United agreed with Spanish team Real Betis for a loan move. Antony will play the rest of the season at Real Betis, but there is no buy-out clause. So, Antony will return to Man United after completing the remaining season at Real Betis. What's Next for Rashford?
The transfer window is about to close but the situation of Marcus Rashford remains unsolved at Manchester United. It is almost clear that Ruben Amorim does not want Rashford in his squad. Ruben Amorim did not include Rashford in the last 10 games of Manchester United. However, Rashford had a proposal from Saudi with a massive salary, but he rejected the offer as he is keen to play in the top European league. Barcelona showed real interest in Rashford and the player is also ready to join the Spanish side. But the only thing is Barcelona will face the FFP rule if they want to sign Rashford. A loan move can be a solution and the talks are ongoing between Barcelona and Rashford's agent. Italian club AC Milan were also interested initially, but since they signed Kyle Walker from Manchester City, they are not likely to sign more with a big fee.Garnacho to Leave?
Manchester United are also open to listening offer for Alejandro Garnacho. However, Napoli submitted an official proposal for Garnacho with a £40 million fee. But Man United rejected the bid as they want at least £70 million for the Argentine starboy. Meanwhile, Chelsea are playing a strategic game to bring Garnacho at Stamford Bridge. They are planning to make a swap deal, Nkuku for Garnacho. The talks are ongoing and we have a few more days to see where these players will go.Related reading
