Manchester United made three bids for this English midfielder, but all three bids were rejected by Chelsea FC. But Mount was keen to join the Red Devils. He did not renew his contract with Chelsea, which forced Chelsea to sell him this summer. However, Chelsea's new boss Mauricio Pochettino never wanted to sell Mount. He tried his best to keep Mount at Chelsea. But it was Erik Ten Hag who convinced Mason Mount to sign for Manchester United. Anyway, Chelsea reached an agreement with Man United after face to face meeting. Man United will pay an initial £55m plus £5 add-ons for Mount. However, Man United just have completed the signing of Mason Mount. Mount signed a five-year contract for the Red Devils, which will keep him until 2028.

However, Mount will join the training with the full squad this week at Carrington.
