Match Report
Before today, Fulham FC lost three matches in a row in the Premier League. Therefore, they are very desperate to get back on the winning track. Fulham boss Marco Silva deployed his best possible XI against Leicester City at Craven Cottage. He set up the team formation with 4-2-3-1. On the other side, Leicester's manager Dean Smith also used the same formation as Fulham. However, the match started with the home team creating chances at Craven Cottage. They tried to take control of the match from the very first minute. As a result, Fulham FC didn't have to wait much to take the lead against the Foxes. The home side took the lead in just ten minutes of the game as Brazilian winger Willian scored a brilliant goal from a free-kick. Scoring the first goal, Fulham became more aggressive. They doubled their lead within eight minutes. This time, Carlos Vinicius scored in the 18th minute with the help of Wilson. The home team got their third goal in the 1st half as Tom Cairney found the net just before the half-time whistle. Returning from the break, Leicester City tried hard to make a response. But it was Fulham FC once again to score first in the 2nd half. Tom Cairney completed his brace in the 51st minute to make the scoreline 4-0. However, Leicester City returned one within nine minutes. Harvey Burns scored the first goal in this match for Leicester City. The visitors could score again, but Jimmy Vardy missed a important penalty kick. Willian scored his 2nd goal and made the scoreline 5-1. The game was almost over, but Leicester City made some good responses at the end. They scored two more goals in the remaining minutes, but those helped nothing to avoid the heavy defeat.Related reading
