It's been a massive blow for Paulo Dybala as he failed to get a call for the 29-man squad of Argentina for their upcoming two friendlies before jumping into the Copa America.

Argentine Football Association, AFA, just announced their squad for two friendlies, where Man United's sensation Alejandro Garnacho secured his place. But the absence of Paulo Dybala shocked the fans around the world. Paulo Dybala has scored 15 goals and registered 9 Assists in his 32 appearances for AS Roma this season.

However, Argentina have not ruled out the chances of Dybala's inclusion in the squad for Copa America. They have to submit a 26-man squad for this competition before June 12. But it is unlike that coach Lionel Scaloni would recall Dybala, Whereas the manager has to cut three more players from this 29-man squad.

Argentina's Squad for Friendlies

Argentina will play two friendly matches before Copa America. The first friendly will Take place On June 10 against Ecuador, and The second One Will be played Four days later against Guatemala. The AFA has announced a 29-man squad for these two matches. The Squad Is given Below:

Goalkeepers:  Emiliano Martínez, Franco Armani, Geronimo Rulli

Defenders:  Gonzalo Montiel, Nahuel Molina, Leonardo Balerdi, Christian Romero, German Pezzella, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Nicolas Otamendi, Lisandro Martínez, Marcos Acuña, Nicolas Tagliafico, Valentine Boat

Midfielders:  Guido Rodriguez, Leandro Paredes, Alexis MacAllister, Rodrigo De Paul, Exequiel Palacios, Enzo Fernandez, Giovani Lo Celso

Forwards:  Angel Di Maria, Valentin Carboni, Lionel Messi, Angel Correa, Alejandro Garnacho, Nicolas Gonzalez, Lautaro Martínez, Julian Alvarez

How Would Be Argentina's Lineup

Lionel Messi won his first international trophy for Argentina by becoming the champions of this tournament back in 2021. This trophy was a massive boost for the La Albiceleste and inspired them to win the FIFA World Cup after ages.

However, another opportunity has come for the defending champions as they start their journey in Copa America 2024 with a match against Canada.

Pundits have already started analyzing the team's playing tactics. Argentine boss Lionel Scaloni always prefers to play in a 4-3-3 formation And In most of the matches, he uses this setup.

Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is the Obvious Choice between the bars, while Nicholas Otamendi and Christian Romero Are likely to Continue playing in the center of the Argentine defense. Lisandro Martinez has already proved himself at Manchester United, but Scaloni is not Likely To break the combination of Otamendi and Romero. In full-back positions, the coach has to choose two players from Nahuel Molina, Marcus Acuna, and Nicholas Tagliafico.

Argentina's midfield has been Very strong In recent years. They have A lot of Options in the midfield mixed with young and experienced players. The Qatar World Cup witnessed the rise of Mac Allister and Enzo Fernandez. Although Enzo Fernandez is having an injury, he should be Fine Before the Copa America. If Enzo is fit, the midfield would be with Rodrigo De Paul, Mac Allister, and Enzo Fernandez. However, Scaloni Has the option to Rotate the midfield as he has Leandro Parades and Giovanni Lo Celso in the squad.

Lionel Messi will definitely lead the frontline. Scaloni has a lot of options for the front As Di Maria, Lautaro Martinez, and Julian Alvarez are in great form.
